Hello,

As you had a hip replacement there will be a need of a proper hip replacement rehabilitation to be done followed by the surgery. The pain is due to imbalanced muscle contraction and leading to pain. I will advise doing hip strengthening exercises and thigh muscles strengthening exercises so the muscle imbalances get corrected. Also, doing exercises on both hips will help correct the balance between the two joints.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
