What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of Chest?

Hi Doctor, i was smoking ofr the past 5 yrs.daily 2 to 3 cigarettes.I had a pain near my left cheat before 3 months & i stopped smoking completely.I checked whether any heart problem but i was given a healthy heart report & nothing to worry.But i still expericec pain on left chest, back side & some time on left arm.

chest pain on left side may be due to variety of reasons loke heart ailments , lung ailments , or a simple gastrirtis or peptic ulcer
in young age group heart diseases are less common and as you said your heart is clean.

you need to visit a pulmonologist who can get a chest xray done to rule out any lung diseases, as for now you can take a proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole once a day after consulting a pulmonologist.
