What Causes Pain In The Left Foot, 3 Inches From The Second Toe?
top of left foot has ached for a year. X ray negative. pain is up about 3 inches from the second toe,,,,I hurt is while hiking the grand canyon, wore a boot for about 10 weeks....hurts if top of foot is pushed downward....I think it is a tendon or ligament. it is not a sprain or break. I am age 62 and 195 pounds and have flat feet..I am in good health and have always been active.

as the xray was negative I don't think any major problem is there.
must be muscle pain or a sprain.
if painful you can take a voveran tab at night( hope you don't have any drug allergy)
applying hot bag and massage with volini cream can also be done..
