What Causes Pain In The Left Arm After Implantation Of Pacemaker?

pacemaker put in nov. 2011 from that time i have had a pain in my left arm from the shoulder to tips of my fingers in the last few months in has gotten much more painful. it is like the blood in not flowing well. i have ask my doctor that put it in from the first visit and even have moved and have a differtnt heart dr amd the people who come to test the pacemaker every six mo. no one has told me any thing . AN ultpsound did not show any thing. pain is much worse when i lay down at night to sleep. Thanks for your help.

Hi
It is neuralgic pain caused by the implant of the pacemaker surgery
It has nothing to do with the heart problem
This pain can ne reduced temporarily by application of local pain relief gels
At night the positional compression causes more pain
