What Causes Pain In The Groin Area After Masturbation?
Hello, I suffer from a groin problem. İts weird because the pain appears when İ jump, mastrubate and jog. Walking isn t painful but when İ walk long distances İ again feel a strange painfull sensation in my groin. İ am a soccer player and İ already stopped with soccer for almost 5 months because of my groin. Also when İ lift weights the pain in my groin comes back. İ went to sevaral doctors and they are sure its not an inguinal hernia. I dont know what to do and I really want to play soccer again.
There are several possible reasons for the pain that you have described. I will describe the 2 that are the most likely.
One would be a bladder calculi or stone, urinary obstruction or some related disease. In this, there would be a good amount of pain when one masturbates or runs as this can irritate the bladder and the penis. One would usually feel the pain reduce after urinating.
Another reason for pain in the groin area may be a hip flexor muscle strain. This comprises the iliac and the psoas major muscle. This can cause pain and stretching the muscle would be a good idea. The hip flexor is also commonly injured in footballers.
Most people find using a warm pack over the area along with stretching useful for the pain.
