What Causes Pain In The Foot And Ankle?
My right foot/ankle has been in pain for about two weeks. I don t remember or think I did anything to it to cause it s discomfort. It hurts in waves when I don t walk, and then when I do walk I can t put my whole weight on it. The top of my foot is the worst pain and then my left ankle gets painful occasionally. I have only tried to ice it and put muscle rub on it. Hasn t gotten any better, thinking I may go see orthopedic soon but I feel like it s something that can be treated at home? maybe.

In my clinic, I recommend taking an x-ray of the foot in AP and oblique view for best evaluation and management ahead.
