What Causes Pain In The First Joint Of The Left Big Toe?
I am having a lot of pain in the first joint of my left big toe. Could this possibly be gout? This foot also has a bad breakout of psoriasis (pustular) on the arch area of this foot. I have been using clobetsol .05% and excipial with 20% urea. I also take warfarin and avorstatin. Jerbau@aol. Com

There is a quite a possibility that this may be gout. However, would need proper history and examination.
Gout generally causes severe pain in single joint ( typically the toe ) and associated with swelling and redness. Psoriasis also is a risk for gout, so it's possible to be Gout.
I would suggest if you can visit your dr to for proper assessment and evaluation.
