What Causes Pain In The Feet?

I have been having pain in my foot for about a week now. I got new shoes at the beginning of the month and seem to have been fine. The pain is at the top of my foot moving down towards my toes. Every once in a while I can just be standing or walking but it will shoot pain up my leg. I have not any had any recent injuries. I was in the military over 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with bone spurs and plantar fasciitis. I have not have any problems for a long while now.

Hi,

The symptoms you reported are suggestive for gout or hyperuricemia.

You need to check acid uric level to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
