What Causes Pain In The Eye After Applying Eyeliner?
hi, when i sit in front of a computer or when i apply kajal to my eyes, i am getting eye pain, like eyes are squeezed, and along with that iam getting headache. these two(eyepain and headache are only left side). kajal is not effecting right eye? please tell me what could be the problem

Hello,
One of the possibilities of headache , left sided, with eye pain is that of migraine. However it might be getting triggered by sitting in front of computer and not caused by it. Since you apply kajal to the right eye also, kajal may not be the aggravating factor. The other possibility is that of allergic sinusitis which can cause deep seated pain behind the eyeball with headache. Either ways you can take analgesic such as Tablet Tylenol, 650 mg, one tablet only if pain is severe and not to repeat it before 12 hours. Along with that you can use lubricating eye drops such as refresh tears eye drops, 1 drop 4 times a day. Use warm compresses to the left eye for symptomatic relief. Get the vision tested once again if not done in the last 6 months. A change in glass prescription can also cause such pain.
