I had an MRI recently showing arthritis in C4 and 5. It seems the arthritis is narrowing the nerve roots coming out from my spinal cord, possibly causing a lot of pain, hot pain and spasm especially in my left arm to the fingers. Often the pain in the joints of elbow, wrist, hand and fingers are intolerable at times. This pain has been going on for several months. I ve had acupuncture, massage, sound and physical therapy but all of them only reduce the intensity for a short period. My primary physician suggests me to consul with a neuro surgeon. I am hesitate to do so. Please advise. Thank you.
