What Causes Pain In The Chest While Suffering From Anxiety?

I have anxiety pretty bad, I haven t had a panic attack in awhile although I have been stressing with the holidays coming and I m not ready financially, I m not sure if this would start up my chest pain but I began felling sharp pains in my chest after indulging a lot of chocolate: Can chocolate cause chest pain???

Hi. It is possible your chest pain is due to anxiety. There are probable 2 causes also .
One is excessive chocolate eating and stress causing gastritis which leads to gastritis causing chest pain. Even though you haven't mentioned age ischaemic can't be excluded . taking an ECG is helpful for finding that out. So if you are getting those chest pains with frequently better to meet your psychiatrist. Hope this helps. Take care
