What Causes Pain In The Chest Post A Back Injury?

fell-on-back-now-chest-hurts got wind knocked out of me possible small tear around sternum, can breath good hurts to cough - not worth going in to have someone tell me you ll heal just like when I broke a finger. This is the second day, aspirin not quite good enough, but it works... this is when I could a pain pill tonight for sleeping... hum the cost for 1 frickin pill, not worth seeing a doc.

Hello Dear. You can take 3 days of analgesics, over the counter drugs, like Tablet Zerodol- P or Tablet Combiflam, thrice a day. Also apply Fenacin gel locally and give hot water fomentation. Pain should reduce by then. If it is still persisting, then you need to meet an orthopedician who may ask you to get an xray or CT scan if indicated and see if there is any injury to the vertebral coloumn.
