What Causes Pain In The Chest During 20th Week Of Pregnancy?
I am 20 weeks pregnant. I have had chest pain all day. I have gestational diabetes. I took my sugar and it was normal and my blood pressure is normal. My chest feels tight and it is hard to breath. Tried to call obgyn and got no response. Do I need to go to ER?
You are suggested to visit ER & get physically examined to rule out any pathology in the chest or developing CAD.
Take smaller meals, stay away from anxiety & stress. Maintain good posture, sleep on your sides (left or right). You can take antacids to relieve acid reflux when there is discomfort.
Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
