What Causes Pain In The Biceps?

I am experiencing muscle pain in both left and right biceps. Haven t done anything out of the norm. Started in the left arm and now also in the right. Hands are very stiff in the a.m. but get better. Certain movements in the arms are painful. Laying down causes the arms to ache. Can t bend them backwards like to fasten seat belt but can raise straight overhead.

Hello,

An injury to this hardworking muscle can make day-to-day tasks difficult. There are two places where the bicep muscle connects: the shoulder and the elbow.

These conditions result in bicep tendonitis, which is a strain or tears in the tendons that can cause a great deal of pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
