What Causes Pain In The Abdomen And Lower Back During Pregnancy?

Hi I was just diagnosed with trich today and I m 10 weeks pregnant for the past few days I ve have some mild cramps and low back pain I have no bleeding that goes away with rest but also a burning sensation with urination and on my urethra from what it feels like... in the beginning of last year I had these symptoms but thought it was a uti so I was treated with cipro and felt better now that I m pregnant seems like the trich started to act up again I just took the dose of flagyl today laying down resting my question basically is should I test or be concerned about the baby because I m a little uncomfortable thank you for your time

Hi, I think you should do a urine routine and microscopy and culture to see if there is any infection. You can take some antibiotic which is safe in pregnancy. Drink around 3 to 4 litres of water per day and take some urine alkaliser like syrup alkasol. You can use some vaginal pessary of antibiotic and antifungal drugs for 3 nights. It will help. Get your sugar levels checked. Hope it helps.
