What Causes Pain In Testicles?

Thank you Dr. Oana! I have had lingering pain in both testicles for the last couple of weeks. I thought originally that it was a sports injury (hitting boxing bag with karate kicks). I went to my doctor and took a PSA test which was 5.5 PSA Any thoughts on my condition please??

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Causes of testicle pain or pain in the testicle area can include:

1.Testicle injury or blow to the testicles-The testicles are very sensitive, and even a minor injury can cause testicle pain or discomfort.
2.Kidney stones may cause pain in lower side of back & sometime radiating in testicle.
3.Inguinal hernia-which is a condition that occurs in the groin area when fatty or intestinal tissues push through the inguinal canal. The inguinal canal is located at the base of the abdomen and is connected to scrotum.
4..Hydrocele (fluid buildup that causes swelling of the scrotum)
5 Mumps is a generalized infection that can cause testicular pain

So visit a doctor, he would give you a proper diagnose
Don't worry you would be fine
Hoping your query is solved.
