What Causes Pain In Temples Radiating To Cheeks And Lower Neck?
I woke up with a dull pain in my temples that soon radiated to my cheeks and lower neck. It feels more like pressure than pain, but it feels exhaustive. I dont feel too sensitive to noise but slight movements aggravate it and it is hard to keep my eyes open due to the pressure around it. Would just taking pain meds suffice?
As per your query you have pain in temples radiating to cheeks and lower neck . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the pain is eithere due to condition caller bruxism or grinding of teeth at night , because it occur when you wake up in the morning or due to migraine . I would suggest you to consult dentist for proper examination . Doctor will take history and check teeth for attrition to rule out other causes like sinusitis , and cluster headache . Doctor may give you night guard , prescribe muscle relaxant and recommend relaxing technique . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist if he/she find this problem to be related with head . For now take proper rest , start physical therapy of facial muscle and stretching exercises of jaw muscles .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
