What Causes Pain In Stomach While Having Meprate 10 Mg Tablet?

Hi i am having regular periods and we r planning for baby .i have undergone a follicular study ,than my gyne suggested me to take Meprate 10 mg twice a day for 10 days....i got my periods 3 days i have stopped taking the tab. but still i am having pain on left side of my lower stomach. is this due the tab,?? plz tell me the remedy??

Hi,

Yes, the drug can cause abdominal pain and cramps.In case the pain is severe and continues 2 to 3 days after stopping the drug,it is essential to visit your doctor. Pelvic ultrasound may be required to rule out any uterine pathology.
