What Causes Pain In Spine After Epidural Procedure?

Hi My name is Pamela.Ten years ago I gave birth to a little girl and received an epidural during my labor with her.To this very day my spine in that exact spotm is still very tender and slightly sore to the touch. In addition, I frequently have such severe pain in the mornings upon waking, that I have to sit up straight in my bed for at least half an hour before I can get up and move aroound. Is this normal following an epidural procedure?

After going through your query I concluded that you have chronic backache. 10 years back you was given epidural block for delivery of your child, you are thinking that you have backache due to this. Many of patients also think so but there is no scientific basis for association of this to backache. It may be due to vitamin and mineral and trace elements deficiencies. Treatment of it is back exercises, EvionLC,calcium and vitamin D3 if it is deficient. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
