What Causes Pain In Shoulder Upon Lifting The Arm?

For the past few months I ve had pain in my left shoulder when I raise it behind me. (stretching or working out) This week I had pain in my left foot and now I have pain in my left leg. Could there be a connection? Is there a reason I would have pain just on the left side of my body?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Its unlikely of having interconnected pain at one side of body. One sided body involvement in neurological deficit mostly causes numbness or weakness. You have to check clinically whether these pains are muscular or joint origin. To control pain you may use analgesic with antacids. Kindly check your sugar and uric acid level.
