What Causes Pain In Shoulder And Numbness In Thumb?

I have been having shoulder pain, thumb numbness for about 2 months. Doctor said it is a muscle issue and sent me to Therapy. Therapy seems to be working, pain comes and goes, have good days and bad days. When will this end? Sleeping is a nightmare and the pain is worse.

hi
Depending on the diagnosis, if it is due to frozen shoulder then physical therapy will take a little more time- it will remit with few more days of physical therapy.I would advise tramadol tab for pain towards evenings, and methycobalamine tab if your doctor agrees.
Frozen shoulder is a self limiting disease. If one is diabetic, blood sugar should be kept controlled, if osteoporosis is there then calcium and vitamin D supplements daily. For severe pain local joint infilteration with injection depomedrol plus xylocain by an orthopedic surgeon
Best wishes,
