Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Pain in the shoulder radiating to neck and back can be due to cervical spondylosis or due to capsulitis of the shoulder. This needs MRI scan for proper diagnosis. Rest and oral muscle relaxants can help in decreasing the pain.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.

Dr. Praveen Tayal . For future query, you can directly approach me through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
