What Causes Pain In Right Kidney With History Of Having Stones?

Started with pain Sat. in area of my right kidney, was not able to straighten up. Had stones before and thought this an attack . Took grapefruit juice and lots of water then till now. Pain in area of kidney abated gradually, and I can now straighten up, however have pain down my right leg to my knee

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
From the post, it appears that your problems are due to kidney stones.
It appears that the pain you are experiencing is because of the stones are bigger in size and are unable to pass freely through ureter by flush out technique, which you are following.
You can take analgesics and anti-spasmodics to get relief, but it is only temporary.
It is better you get an ultrasound abdomen done to know the status of the stone and where the obstruction is, so that proper treatment can be instituted.
Kindly visit Urologist for further evaluation and management.
