What Causes Pain In Pelvic Region During Pregnancy Suggest?

I am 16 weeks pregnant and had a really bad espisode yesterday that lasted two hours of shooting pain in my pelvic region. I had no bleeding. I couldn't stand, sit, or really move. This happened 5 days prior but not as bad and didn't last as long. What could this be?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the shooting pain might be muscular in origin as it was for only one episode. If it is associated with any urinary symptoms like burning or increased urination then complete urine examination need to be done to rule out urine infection.Take rest.Avoid physical strain.Take adequate fluids upto 3 litres to prevent urine infections.Dont worry.
