What Causes Pain In Neck Radiating Towards Arms?

i randomly started feeling a weird pain on the right side of my neck and its running down through my arms. its as if theres a stiffness running down that area. It feels as if something is pulling on my neck. it randomly occurred about an hour ago and this never happened before. what could have caused it?

it appears to be cervical spondilytis. use neck color, hard bed no-pillow at bedtime. apply analgesic ointment.take hifenac tablet twice daily for ten days.
