What Causes Pain In Lower Abdomen, Buttock And Pelvis?

I am female, 27 and overweight. I have been having pains in my lower abdomen, buttocks, pelvis, lower back and pubic area-inner thigh creases, strange burning sensation around/near my urethra and as of 5 minutes ago my mons pubis. Google has led me to pudendal neuralgia but my Doctor disagrees. These sypmtoms do not happen all at one but they have all happened at some point and usually in isolation. I have had several blood tests all negative except one showing that I hav an infection somewhere. I have had another set of blood tests, a pelvis xray and urine test and am waiting to hear those results. Last night I even had pains all over my body. This has been going on for about 1 month. Do you think it might be pudendal neuralgia if not what else? I have no problems urinating or with bowel movements. Neither is frequent and I have had a course of antibiotics.

Hello,
Your doctor is right, its highly unlikely to be a pudental neuralgia. In my opinion you are probably suffering from pelvic/urinary tract infection. If I were your treating doctor I would wait for the urine test to find the causative organism and prescribe appropriate antibiotic.
Hope I have answered all your queries. If you have any further questions I would be happy to help.
