Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain In Legs And Bluish Toes When Seated?
I have pain in my legs and my toes turn bluish when I am seated for long period of times. My cardiologist referred me to a vascular radiologist who gave me an appointment at the radiologist s office today. He was supposed to do a Doppler. My cardiologist then scheduled an arteriogram for Nov. 3. They called me from the vascular radiologist today and told me that the technician was not coming today since he was sick and that they could not give me the appointment until Nov. 5. That is two days after I have the appointment with the cardiologist for an arteriogram. My question is this: Should the Doppler be firs or it does not make any difference. Should I report to the Cardiologist that my appointment at the vascular radiologist has been changed? Please help me out.
Hello no its not necessary to do doppler first. You can do angiogram first also. But yes you should contact your cardiologist first before going for angiogram. I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
