What Causes Pain In Left Rib And Waist While Sneezing?
After a hard sneeze this am I felt an intense burning pain on my left side between mid rib and waist area. Pain occurs getting up or sitting down and I almost was not able to get up from X-ray table from lying down position pain was so intense. Haven t heard X-ray results yet

It is possible that there is some damage to the nerves in the area of the trauma.
Since there is no open lesion it is likely that they are not severed but may have been compressed and wounded.
Healing would occur but in some cases it can take a few weeks.
There are medications that can help with nerve related discomfort such as amitriptyline, tegretol, lyrica, gabapentin
