What Causes Pain In Knee Post Injury?

I fell off of a ladder on Friday and today I can barely walk it hurts so bad. It s on my right leg on the outside of my knee. This is where I landed. It has a pretty good size lump but, no bruise. What do you think this is? Should I go to the doctor tomorrow?

Hello

You should consult orthopedician for proper evaluation.
You may need clinical examination and initially you may need X-ray of right knee(AP/Lateral view).
It is important to exclude fracture.
If there is no bony fracture then you may only need conservative treatment like cold compression, analgesics and anti-inflammatory medicines.
You may also need rest.
MRI of right knee can be done after evaluation. It is advised in suspected ligament and meniscus injury.

Get well soon.
Take care
