What Causes Pain In Heel With History Of Ulcer In Leg?

Thankyou. I have had a leg ulcer for 9 months, now almost healed, but during this time, I have been getting a tender, sore pain in the flat of my heel of the same leg. Someone said its because I can only wear a flat shoe and not a shoe with a bit of a heel. Would it help to try and get back to wearing a heeled shoe? I am wearing compression hosiery which I hate, but once the ulcer is completely healed, perhaps I needn t wear them as much. Some days I can hardly walk about much. I am 70 and a little overweight due to the ulcer and enforced rest - ug.

if ulcer is not completly healed, thenit can have lymphatic drainage to other part of leg.take combiflam tablet, apply analgesic ointment. can apply crepe bandage. when youare alright can use normal shoe.
