What Causes Pain In Groin, Buttocks And Hip?

I was diagnosed with arthritis in my left hip. For approximately 2 months, I ve had pain in my groin area, buttocks and outside hip pain. I thought it was bursitis and received a shot. 3 weeks ago and still have pain. Could it be a torn or frayed labrum causing this new pain. I m 53 years old.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is arthritis the such pain is part of this disease and pathological changes is like unpredictable and this is not be matter of concern but management is the main concern, till you get some decision as long as some surgical intervention is concern, this can be managed with NSAID (Non-Steroid Anti-inflammatory drugs) hope this information helps, take care.
