What Causes Pain In Foot And Ankle Post Recovery From Growth Plate Fracture?

about five years ago i fractured my growth plate in my ankle/foot. I had a cast on and all but when the cast came off i had a wierd skin lump on my heel. It hurt to push against it but the doctor never cared to look at it. A month ago i woke up and the bump was severly reduced but still obviously there and my ankle/foot has hurt a lot. Regardless of weather i sit or stand all day. My aunt and grandmother are convinces a bone dis not heal right and it shifted. i cant get to the doctor right away. What is your opinion and how would the doctor go about fixing it
