What Causes Pain In Eyebrow And Face, Limb Numbness And Pressure In Throat?
Hi,
My father, age 51 has the problem like pain starts at a point above left eye brow and slowly one side of the face, hand &leg becomes numb, and he says during this he experiences severe pressure in throat and experiences shortness of breadth, doctors said its stroke and prescribed only ecospirin gold 10 to be taken after lunch.
note- he had high BP & sugar but now its normal, cholesterol is 0%
The problem is now he gets pain in the part above left eyebrow sometimes , during that period(5 to 10min) he becomes so motionless.. what is the problem... he has been taking medicines for the past 5 months then too this exist.. he gets this evn when he gets angry... please give me a solution for this doctor....

Dear despite of normal reading blood sugar level and B.P should be keep checked routinly,as diabetes and hypertention has been already diagnosed.Since both diseases can damage and cause ischemic changes silently in brain, so the weakness of nerves which can cause these symptoms.
Anger can also cause shoot up of B.P and can cause silently bad effects on brain.My opinion would be get a CT brain first so it can be confirmed that where exactly these diseases are effecting in brain.For pain and numbness your father may have gabapentine after discussing with neurologist.
