Hi, i just was cleaning my ears in the bathroom (with a q-tip) and someone knocked on the door asking for something out of there and it kind of scared me. the q-tip was pushed back in my ear hitting something (not knowing) and it hurt extremely bad. the hearing is ok but it still hurts.
Understanding your concern. As per your query pain in ear due to pushing of q-tip is due to trauma to ear canal after insertion of qtip in wrong direction. You should not put anything in ear as ear canal has self cleaning property. I would suggest you to use Ciplox D ear drops at night time. You should take combination of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medications. You should keep ears dry and cover them while bath as water will enter in ears. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. start treatment after proper examination. Avoid inserting and pricking anything in ear. You should take tablet Cetrizine at night.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
