Hi Dear,

Welcome to Health Care Magic Team.

Understanding your concern .

As you describe in your query that you are having hearing loss due to listening of very loud music . The most probable condition your are facing is noise induced hearing loss . It could be temporary or permanent depending upon the damage caused to structures in your ears .

Noise induced hearing loss occur when sudden loud sound cause damage to internal parts of your ear like ear drum and hairs in side the middle ear .As you mention that you are having pain in ear along with hearing loss which is alarming condition .

The problem of hearing noises is a condition called tinnitus which usually go away in few days or can persist for longer period also .

Although noise induce hearing loss is usually permanent , But only a specialist can tell the exact condition.

I would suggest to immediately consult a doctor specialized in this field (otolaryngologist ). He can perform hearing test like audiogram and percribe some antioxidants , vitamin supplements.

I would prescribe you to use ear lubricating drops till the time you donot visit specialist as dryness can exagerrate your condition.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
