What Causes Pain In Chest While Swallowing Food?

I m having pain in my chest after having a gastroscopy and colonoscopy yesterday. It comes and goes and it hurts when I swallow any food or drinks. I called my GI doctor and got a chest X-ray which came out normal. Don t xrays only look at bones though? How could that suggest if anything was wrong? I am a 22 year old female.
