What Causes Pain In Breast And Underarms Post Back Injury?
About two weeks ago, I fell and landed on my back. The pain that I have been experiencing is underneath my right breast to the front of my right underarm. It s a constant ache unless I cough or try to blow my nose and then it is a sharp pain. I also have had a knot in my upper abdomen/stomach that feels like extreme indigestion that began about the same time as my fall. I am having a terrible time sleeping. My stomach ache hurts mostly at night so I try to sleep with a hot water bottle. Do you think it is all related to my fall? Is there anything that I can do to speed up my recovery?

Yes, all these problems look to be related to the fall on your back.
The pain in the tight side of the chest under the breast, to underarm, and abdomen can be due to fracture if the ribs .
Get a Ct scan of the abdomen and the Chest to confirm the diagnosis and get treated properly .
You may need strapping around the chest to hold the breathing enhancement of the pain and movement of the ailing organs

Well come to HCM
If the symptoms started after the fall only then this could be due to this only and if this was there even before the fall then this may not be related with fall, accidental injury ideally need to be investigated for internal injury particularly orthopedic one, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
