What Causes Pain In A Particular Vertebrae In The Back?

I am having pain in a particular vertebrae in my middle back. Feels bruised, although I haven t hit it on anything. This has been going on for over 4 weeks. Doesn t hurt when doing normal activity, but I tend to stand erect with butt stuck out and that is when it hurts. Feels like something is wrong with the bones, not the muscle....

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it's time to get checked by your family doctor first as this has been going on for 4 weeks now.

Apply analgesic cream locally; analgesic patches can help. Take analgesic pills orally. A magnesium supplement can help.

Discuss this further with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
