What Causes Pain From The Finger Tips To The Feet?

I recently experienced achy bones, all over from my finger tips to the tops of my feet, with chills. I took cold medicine at night and woke fatigued. Was able to have quite a few bowel movements, was very thirsty, not hungry at all, but managed to eat. Food did not have a good taste. Te body aches went away mostly within 24 hours, then I had a fever which I was able to sweat out for anther 18 hours as I could not make it to work. I am much better, but I still have this fever that seems to start in my head. I have no other cold symptoms, just tired and still a little achy. How should I be treating this? My body feels like I have the flu, but no cough or sinus issues.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.

I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

I also recommend to drink liquids, eat healthily and rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
