What Causes Pain During Urination And Vaginal Itching Post Intercourse?

doctor i recently had sex with my partner for the first time and after a day i found tht while urination i had severe pain and also kinda itching sensation in the vaginal opening..even during sex i had severe pain v didnt have compete sex..y is tht i have pain and itching sensaition in the vagina..?

Thanks for posting in HCm.
I understand your concern.
During first few occasions, some of them could experience pain and itching sensation during or following intercourse. This could be possibly due to lack of enough lubrication during intercourse.
Kindly maintain good genital hygiene by rinsing with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily. Also, use vaginal pH balancing solution like 'V Wash' regularly. You can use moisturizer cream or lotion at bedtime.
Ask your partner to be gentle on next few occasions during sexual activity.
