What Causes Pain Below The Wrist Bone Radiating To The Elbow?

I woke up this morning with pain just below my right wrist, feeling like in the very center, inside. It hurts down up the antecubital fossa, towards the elbow, about 6-7 . It hurts to turn wrist as such when screwing in a light bulb, and it hurts to type. Blood clot, possibly?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. Blood clots in the arm are very, very rare.
This sounds like a case of tendonitis--tendon inflammation. It can be treated with heat, ibuprofen, and rest of the arm--no prolonged twisting or bending at the elbow
