What Causes Pain Below The Elbow?

my arm/ forearm hurt right below the elbow when I grip or squeeze or even have to pick something up heavy and my elbow is up. as if I was lifting with my shoulder/ lat muscle and leading with my elbow. the pain happens when I grip a football, that s how I first noticed it. I m curious as to what that may be. it does prohibit me from doing certain things both for work and free time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As you have pain while squeeze and movement, it may be carpel tunnel syndrome. You can take tablet Pregabalin, tab Neurobion Forte after neurologist consultation. Kindly do EMG-NCV after consultation. Don't give much strain over that hand.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale,
