What Causes Pain Behind The Eye And A Lump On Bridge Of Nose?

The last few days i have had a dull ache behind my right eye, it has been constantly weeping for over a year, then last night i noticed a small soft lump between bridge of nose and eye, the skin on it has gone shiny white, there is no pain unless its touched. And i cannot get an appointment with my GP. Any ideas should I be worried? Thankyou.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having pain behind the eye and a lump on the bridge of the nose. This looks like a inflammatory swelling involving the skin or deeper structures like lacrimal sac or sinuses.
The treatment of the condition is by use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Applying hot compression provides symptomatic relief.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
