75 year old male, I have leg upper thigh pain, weakness. This is the kind of pain and weakness that you get when over working the muscles such as running or training. I have not done running or training. I did have problems lifting my left leg after a round of golf. I used a cane for only a few days. I this condition has improved a little in my left leg. Now after 6 weeks I am having no more improvement and the pain is in both upper leg muscles mostly in the front upper thigh muscles. I do not have any other symptoms such as blood clots, swelling, hotness, bruising. This pain/weakness gets worse with bed rest and sitting. Walking helps. I have removed ROSUVASTATIN CALCIUM (roe-SOO-va-STAT-in) aka Crestor weeks ago thinking muscle pain side effects. I have been to a medical center that gave me a MRI RX for the area of pain, and six days of pain killer. I have gone to a sports MD who said I don t need an MRI, but now after weeks of no improvement I have scheduled an MRI for 12/20/2016. Do you have any other recommendations?
