What Causes Pain And Tingling Sensation In Face Despite Taking Cephalexin For Cold Sore?

I have a cold sore, canker sore, and a rash on the left side of my face.. I went to a walk in clinic and he prescribed Cephalexin 500 & Benadryl. I have taken 4 dozes & my face still tingles & has sharp pain running through it. the rash is under eyesocket on eyebrow on forehead & under nose. The Dr. said something about infected hair follicles &staph infection. I thought it might of been shingles as I had just one spot 20 yrs ago on forehead? Just wondering if I should go back in or wait a few more days

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion better to finished the course given by doctor, some time this may take little more time to come around, be patience everything would be fine, after finishing the course if symptoms are still there then you can go for second opinion, hope this information helps, take care.
