What Causes Pain And Tightness In The Chest Along With Rapid Heart Rate?
I was at the urgent care last week, May 6 due to my chest pain and tightness. The doctor said I am having a chondrocostral junction syndrome or title s disease. She prescribed me 800mg Ibuprofen and prednisone. I already used up all the prednisone. Today at work I felt so weak and my heart was beating so fast. I felt like I m so nervous. I felt like I m going to faint if I don t sit down. I get so nervous so easy now for no reason and my chest begins to tight. Should I go back to urgent care or get an appointment with my physician?
i am suspecious weather you are suffering from anxiety disorder which is called panic attacks. but before thinking the possiblity of anxiety disorder we have to make sure that you are not suffering from any physicall illness such as unstable angina, arrythmias and thyroid gland disorder. so first consult urgent care . they will do ecg , caidiac enzyme levels and tell you weather you have any acute illness. if they were not found anything get an appoinment from your physician. he will investigate further to exclude cardiac and thyroid disorders. if no abnormality found he may refer you to exclude posssible anxiety disorder such as panic attacks.
