What Causes Pain And Tightness In Back Muscles On Having Citrus Fruits?

Hi About 13 yrs. ago in Nov. we had Mandarine oranges, My wife myself and our 2 daughters all came down with muscle pain and spasims which lasted for about a week. The one daughter had to crawl around on her hands and knees for about 1/2 hr. each morning before she could stand up. I would roll out of bed slowly and slowly stand up with much pain. I believe that this may have been due to possibly a spray that was used on the fruit? Just a guess. The other 3 didn t have any further symptoms. I still struggle with this, whenever I consume citrus fruits, strawberries, tomatoes, poss. peppers etc., I suffer with a sore tight back muscle, location is lower back to the side just above the hip bone. This pain lasts from 2 to 7 days, makes it hard to tie my own shoes. Any ideas?? Jim
