What Causes Pain And Swelling On The Right Foot?

I had an x-Ray done on my right foot due to pain on top of the foot right behind the toes. Diagnosis was degenerative changes in foot. What could cause this swelling on top like a little pillow and hurt as I walk heel to toes. Pain is greatest as toes bend.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Do you have Diabetes Mellitus. If you do, then this could mean that you are having Charcots' disease of the foot. An MRI or a Skeletal scintigraphy can diagnose the condition. Once the diagnosis is made, you must visit a Podiatric Surgeon or an Orthopedic surgeon for further management, which would be conservative in your case.
