What Causes Pain And Swelling On The Knees?

I had TKR 8 months ago now I hVe swelling & pain fluid on.the kne It has not gotten better with rest icing and elevating it s been about 21/2 wks still swollen and painful to stand.or after sitting and getting up or at night and taking antiinflamatory What is next when I go back very discouraging. * There sounds to be chronic infection around the knee after the TKR which has not been resolved.
* Fluid aspiration for causative organism culture and further intensive care is mandatory to save the limb and joint healthily.
