What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Fingers?

Hi. My daughter is 21. For the last couple of weeks she has been experiencing severe pain in her fingers with some swelling. It moved up her arms and into her shoulders. it has started to affect her feet and legs. She has swelling in her knees. She has tested negative for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Hot baths and heat packs seem to help a little. The Drs have no idea and just keep prescribing pain relief. Do you have any suggestions that might help.

Hello,

It could be an inflammatory swelling arising due to osteoarthritis.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
